Purpose

Completely wipes a machine.

wipe (-y)

Arguments

• -y — bypass the “are you sure” prompt

Examples

Without -y

wipe

Result:
Prompts “are you sure” before wiping

With -y

wipe -y

Result:
Wipes the filesystem without confirmation
